Hi,

Just wanted to THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for a brilliant day out.
I know it was cold, wet and muddy but it was well worth it.  Our little man RHYDGWILLIM REGINALD came 1st out of 15 on his first outing with us and then went Youngstock Champion.  I am absolutely thrilled, delighted and over the moon.
Was made to feel very welcome at your venue and will definitely be coming to further events.  The rosettes are beautiful and the cups that were handed out as well - words fail me.  ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT - Well Done and a Big Thank You to every one who worked so hard to make the show a success.
Thanks again from one over the moon mum  !!!!!

The Easter Hunt For Trophies!

With reports of a Amber weather warning and snow / Wintry Showers looming the showing community of South Wales came to support the mountain and Moorland charity show in aid of four very worthy charities, All entering into the spirit of the event and although those that had queue down the road waiting to find parking spaces inside, everyone got in and no classes where missed

With a wide choice of fourteen classes for Mountain & Moorland, Welsh and part bred, both in-hand and under saddle a capacity audience was treated to an equestrian feast of quality horses, a tough decision was often made by the judges Mr & Mrs Roberts of Nantlais stud with big classes of up to seventeen entries and a variety of breeds to match.
Offered were 14 classes,  first place winning a cup and bespoke rosettes, 6 championships with cups to champion and salvers to reserve and one supreme championship winning sashes cups & salvers
The stewards did an outstanding job in difficult circumstances and cannot be thanked enough for their sterling work.
We were fortunate to have Philmar snaps in attendance taking several hundred photos these can be seen and purchased via his website.

The shows main objectives were to have a fun day, raise as much as possible for the charities and try to reward as many rosettes and trophies as possible. Thanks to major sponsorship there was hardly a head without a Blue Chip cap or a competitor without a prize.
We were totally over whelmed by the sheer volume of competitors and equally the quality ponies presented.

Our congratulations go to Traci Wilson with Rhydgwillim Reginald by Colne Heartsease C.Edwards winning M&M Youngstock Champion with her yearling Colt Section A Stremda Diamond by Northgrove Llewwllyn, Kailey Launchbery's Stunning Section D Colt Brenin-y-Gwryd coming Reserve.
Mandy Jones with her homebred welsh Partbred Blaenllan Cardinals Dream who was Champion Partbred.

Gwenela Ruth & Laura Landon winning Supreme Champion a palomino lead rein pony with one of our youngest competitors on board and standing Reserve Cara Barrett with Ashgrove Crackerjack probably the most senior entry at twenty three years a cracking section C stallion by Fronarth Welsh Jack

Again a big thank you to all who attended in support of the show and a special thank you to those who sponsored Classes / Championships, Merlin Homes Wales that sponsored the rosettes, Claytons, Robinsons, spillers, Dodson & Horrell, Carmarthen Farmers who supplied vouchers, Bluechip & uk equine Ltd that supplied prizes.
